South Carolina’s National Estuarine Research Reserves

There are 29 National Estuarine Research Reserves across the country, focused on studying and protecting their unique estuary ecosystems. South Carolina is home to the ACE Basin and her NERR-by sister reserve, North Inlet – Winyah Bay in Georgetown. After a brief overview of the NERR system we’ll hear from researchers about how they record and use water quality data and current projects from both reserves.
