    Estuary Open House Party- VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP

    Help us make our Estuary Open House Party on September 28th the biggest and best yet! We need volunteers to provide information to visitors, help kid make fish prints, play games on the lawn, and demonstrate research and monitoring methods. Please sign up for one event.

    Located in the HBDC lobby. Sign-up guests for tours, provide general info about events for the day and also about the Reserve. Give out raffle tickets.

    Located in the HBDC classroom. Help with set-up, printing, and clean-up.

    Citizen Science Station

    Located in the HBDC breezway. Demonstrate how water sampling tools and methods that are used in Adopt-a-Stream (e.g. secchi disk/tube, refractometer, pH) and phytoplankton monitoring.

    Lawn Games

    Located on the front lawn. Games for kids- fish toss, turtle crawl, going fishing. Game materials and directions will be provided.
