Painting w/ Pam Corwin! One of SCDNR’s artists!

Young and old alike are invited to learn the wonders of fish and the importance of aquatic conservation in our fisheries art class. This fisheries art class uses art, science, and creativity to foster connections to the outdoors and inspire the next generation of stewards. Connecting people to nature through visual art and hands-on learning is one of America’s most powerful conservation tool, so come on out and pick up a brush!

In this class, we will: 1.) learn about different fish species found in the estuary

2.) make Gyotaku fish prints using fish molds

3.) paint a fish using watercolor resist

This program will be held at our Outdoor Pond Shelter located at the Kimbel Lodge. Once you register, you will receive an email a few days before the event with all of the details!
