Phytoplankton Monitoring Volunteer Training
The National Phytoplankton Monitoring Network (PMN) is a community-based network of volunteers that monitor marine phytoplankton and harmful algal blooms (HABs). The North Inlet-Winyah Bay Reserve is recruiting citizen-scientists to monitor our coastal waters for potentially harmful phytoplankton. Participants will collect and assess samples twice a month. Training and all equipment needed will be provided at the Reserve.
