Protecting Pollinators w/ Blackwater Beekeepers Association

Join us as we partner with the Blackwater Beekeepers Association to teach all about pollinators! The Blackwater Beekeepers Association is deeply committed to protecting and preserving the Honeybee in Horry and Georgetown Counties. You may have not noticed but, our Honeybee and pollinator population has declined significantly. Sadly, without pollinators most of our favorite food would not exist. How? Why? And how can we help? These are all questions that we will answer in our “Protecting Pollinators” program! An observation bee hive will be showcased! Registration is required for this free program. Intended for ages 5 to 105!

Please meet at the Hobcaw Barony Discovery Center for a short walk to the Kimbel Pond Shelter (22 Hobcaw Rd Georgetown, SC 29440)
