Winyah Watershed Paddle: Boggy Swamp (Sampit River)

Join Reserve Education staff for a morning of exploration. We will have special guest paddlers joining us; Erin Donmoyer the Black/Sampit Riverkeeper and TL Staub Trails Coordinator for Georgetown County Parks and founder of Georgetown Outdoor Adventure Trails (GOAT)! This location is NOT a designated kayak launch. We have access permission from the county to do this trip. Registration is required so that you recieve detailed information for the kayak trip a few days prior via the email address you provide us.

This program is intended for experienced paddlers that are 18 years and older. This month’s paddle will take place at Boggy Swamp (the headwaters of the Sampit River) You must provide your own kayak, paddle, life jacket, and whistle!
