Winyah Watershed Paddle: Boggy Swamp, Sampit River

Paddle with us at the headwaters of the Sampit River for a special Winyah Watershed event! We’re excited to welcome two incredible guest paddlers:

• TL Staub, Trails Coordinator for Georgetown County Parks and founder of Georgetown Outdoor Adventure Trails (GOAT)

Please Note:

This is NOT a designated kayak launch. We have received special access permission from the county to explore this unique location. 

Important Information:

• Date & Time: October 29th 12:30pm-3:30pm

• Location: Detailed information will be sent via email a few days prior to the kayak trip. Kayak launch is located near the intersection of Saints Delight Rd and Pennyroyal Rd (more directions will be sent via email)

• Equipment Required: Bring your own kayak, paddle, lifejacket, and whistle

• What to Bring: Plenty of water and snacks
