
Winyah Watershed Paddle: Estuaries Week Celebration!
Celebrate estuaries with the Education staff as we explore the North Inlet Estuary by kayak during high tide. This unique opportunity allows participants to paddle through this pristine and undeveloped estuary, visiting ancient Native American shell middens along the way. You’ll also hear about ongoing research conducted in this remarkable ecosystem.

Location: Meet at the Hobcaw Barony Discovery Center. Kayak launch is located at Oyster Landing, located on the Hobcaw Barony property (transportation not provided)

Equipment Required: Bring your own kayak, paddle, lifejacket, and whistle
