Winyah Watershed Paddle: Peter’s Creek, Black River

Join Reserve Education staff for a morning of exploration along the Black River. As we kayak through Peter’s Creek, we will talk about native plants, animals and why this ecosystem is so important to us as a community.

We will have special guest paddlers joining us; Erin Donmeyer the Black/Sampit Riverkeeper and TL Staub Trails Coordinator for Georgetown County Parks and founder of Georgetown Outdoor Adventure Trails (GOAT)!

You must provide your own kayak, paddle, lifejacket, and whistle. This program is intended for experienced paddlers ages 18 and older.

The April 30th paddle location will take place at Peter’s Creek Landing along the Black River (off of Choppee Rd). Once registered, you will recieve a confirmation email a few days prior to the event.
