Children’s Salt Marsh Hike

Grab your children and hike along with Reserve staff for a short but exciting salt marsh hike on our education boardwalk. We will explore the salt marsh through our sense of smell, sight, and taste!! Adults must register also. Registration required, limited to 6 participants. Masks must be worn when social distancing is not possible or in large group. Bike to the Boardwalk

Bike 5 miles (roundtrip) on gravel roads through Hobcaw Barony’s pristine forests to the Reserve’s beautiful salt marsh boardwalk on North Inlet estuary. Wildlife, research and salt marsh ecology will be discussed during the trip. Bring your own bike (all terrain tires recommended), helmet, water, snack. FREE; weather permitting. Limited to 6 participants due to COVID. Please wear a mask inside buildings and while in the group.
